New Development Release: Qdig 20050415

This release addresses what happens when thumbnail images are missing from gallery directories and adds adds the capability to exclude GIF images from galleries.

Notes:

This release has some more code refinement. The script now has a built-in clear-dot GIF, which is put in the place of any missing thumbnail image files.

Since some servers are not GIF-friendly, there's a new option to exclude that image format.

This release is a good candidate for testing and morphing into another stable release since quite a few touchy, if minor, issues have been addressed since Qdig 1.2.7.

Changes:

  • Added an $exclude_gif Server Compatibility setting for excluding GIF images.
  • Now if a thumbnail is missing its place is taken up by a (built-in) clear-dot GIF, displayed with the dimensions of the would-be thumbnail image.
